hyphen in bip report changing to question mark

hi all,
i am using a hyphen in my rtf document, when i see output of this using bi desktop the output is coming correctly but when i upload it to bip and see output of this report, the hyphen is coming as question mark.

if you need any clarification please let me know.

any help will be appreciated.
