UOM in Fixed Assets

  Dear all, 

I am working in Power Distribution Company and we capitalize the electricity lines as we install it. And its UOM is in Kilometers. But Oracle Assets does not support the assets in decimal e.g. 1.5 Km. Can anyone help me how to cater this problem?
