Oracle Audit Vault (OAV) Supported Red Hat Linux versions

We have been presented with a requirement for RHEL-5u2 x86_64 for OAV, but I'm seeing a date of 2007 on the requirements document.

What is the latest supported version of RHEL-5 for OAV v2.3. We consider a system left back as far as 5u5 and certainly 5u2 to be a rather extreme security risk.

If the Oracle Unbreakable Kernel is required for RHEL-5u5 and beyond, can we at least apply other updates including glibc to bring it up to 5u8+?
