AME Requisition Approval Groups

We're testing the implementation of AME on requisition approvals.  Is there a way to use the existing Approval Groups setup under the Purchasing SuperUser->Setup->Approval Groups?  Or will we have to make a rule for every authorization level needed, i.e. Document Total >= 100.000.00 for Section/Manager jobs.
