PRC Generate Draft Invoice for large projects taking a long time to run...

Hi...

Can someone explain how the PRC Generate  Draft Invoice runs on very large projects?  We have some mega projects that when we run this process, take over 1 hr to complete.  Example of one project:

1)     84,000 lines of transactions

2)     About 716 tasks

3)     There is about $7018 worth of WIP to be billed

5)     There is about another $4,109,000 that is in a billable status of yes but are on Billing Hold

Does the PRClcycle through all 84,000 lines of  transactions even thought many of them have been billed?  Any help would be appeciated....
