How are fixed asset records updated when the company number is changed on a business unit?

You need to run the Update Co. Number, BU/Obj/Sub program (P12802) when changes are made to an account number, or the business unit changes on accounts, or the company number changes on a business unit.  When an account number or business unit changes and this program run, both the F1201 asset master and F1202 asset balance files are updated.  If the company number is changed and the program run, only the F1202 asset balance file is updated.  You must use the Asset Transfer program (P12108) to transfer the asset to the new company in order to update the F1201 asset
