Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi,

I'm using solaris 10 and oracle 10.2.0.5.0

I plan to setup multiple instance(5 or more) in one server. All instance is for OLTP

What is the best practices on listener for multiple oltp instance? Is it one listener or multiple listener ?

What is commonly used tunable parameter for listener setting ?
