CM distributions for invoices with rules

Hi folks,

We are doing an upgrade from 11.5.10 to 12.1.3 and we have an issue with distributions that are being created for credit memos which are raised against invoices with rules.

In a nutshell the issue is that –  that when a CM is issued against an invoice with rules, it is assuming all the distributions of the scheduled revenue from the invoice but all the distributions are being created in the current period and the one after. I don't understand why the revenue is not being scheduled for future periods as it is for the invoice.
