Browser options on Linux 5.8 and Oracle 11g Rel 2

Mozilla no longer supports Firefox 3.6.  The Oracle EE installation guide for Linux (x86-64 Bit) indicates the most current Firefox version supported is 3.6.  I considered Chrome 4.0 per the Oracle installation guide, but the Chrome site does not list Redhat as supported explicitly.  Also Google appears to be following the Mozilla rapid upgrade philosophy that makes application support a bit more challenging. I'm also confused about Oracle support for Redhat long term.
Am I over complicating this or is there an optimal choice for my planned new server installation?  Reiterating...
  1. What are my browser options?
  2. Where can I find Oracle's direction on Linux...specifically Redhat?
