Oracle Streams reduce tablespace

Hi, I have a setup Oracle 10gR2 Streams between two databases on Linux, the tablespace STREAMSTS has become very large because the table APPLY_dbQTAB is 33 GB, you can truncate this table and then reduce the tablespace?
