Override Item Master for 'Material items' Resource Class

Hello,

     We have two Item Master organizations(for different business groups).For 'Material items' Resource class (for Projects setup) we have set the master organization from the first business group.Now, I have to create project deliverables for organizations from the second business group but I can't because of this setup.Can we override the Item master for 'Material items' resource class?
