How is local determined at log in to 11i?
We have created a layout template for printing purchase orders in China. We now have two PO templates, VPOXPOPDF (default) and VPOXPOPDF_CHINA. I have registered these templates as follows:
VPOXPOPDF Language=English Territory=United States
VPOXPOPDF_CHINA Language=Chinese Territory=China
VPOXPOPDF_CHINA Language=English Territory=China
What I want is .. if the user picks a Chinese responsibility they should see the VPOXPOPDF_CHINA layout regardless of whether they pick Chinese or Engligh language at login. (The field headings for this document are all defined fnd_new_messages in English and Chinese.)
What’s happening is .. if the user picks the Chinese LANGUAGE they see the VPOXPOPDF_CHINA layout with field headings in Chinese regardless of responsibility chosen, If the user picks English language they see the default VPOXPOPDF, with field headings in English, layout regardless of responsibility.
