R12 Revenue Recognition + COGS Recognition

1)  Defined items where Accounting Rule = IMMEDIATE

2)  Picked/Shipped/Interfaced to Receivables

3)  AutoInvoice generates invoice, but Revenue is not recognized until Revenue Recognition is run

4) Also COGS is not recognized, because revenue is not recognized.  Even though the Item Account Rule = Immediate

5) In R12, is there any way to bypass this?  We can run the concurrent jobs - Revenue Recognition, and all the Cost Manager jobs but in our scenario there is no need for these jobs.
