After an upgrade from 8.1.1.3 to 8.1.1.7 the cpu usage on the clients side increased significantly.

The CPU usage on the client machine used to be on average around 20% with peaks at 85%, after the upgrade the CPU usage is on avarage 40% while it peaks at 100%.

This causes the application to run extremly slow for some users, please note that with CPU usage we mean the CPU usage on the client machine and not the server where Siebel runs.

Customer wants to know from Oracle if the new client consumes more CPU before purchasing new hardware.
