Is it possible to create two active listeners with different VIP's in 10.2.0.5 RAC

Hi All,

I am working 2 node RAC(10.2.0.5 ) build on AIX. For project related traffic, I want to configure separate listener for dataguard replication and other monitoring tools/agents replications and another listener for application connectivity.

I have seen a reference that we can use multiple pubic/VIP interfaces from 10g onwards. But not sure whether we can use both the VIP's interface to create  two different listeners or not.

Currently database is up and running on existing RAC configuration. I want to create another listener on new public/VIP interfaces.  In simple way I want to use two active listeners with different VIP's in RAC environment.

Howdy, Stranger!
