Salvage value and Subledgers

Hi - We have an Asset with cost in botha SUbledger and a blanke Subledger. Accumulated Depreciation is also set this way.

When I add a Salvage value the depreciation calculation is applying this salvage value to the values of the Blank Subledger and the values with teh subledger.

Basically doubling the subledger value.

Hoe can I get the salvage value to be allocated to the asset as a whole rather than to each subledger.

Example:

Asset #100   Salvage Value = $25,000

Cost                                                 Accum Depr

$145,000 Subledger = Blank                 $<3,000>  Subledger = Blank

$12000  Subledger = 12345/W               $<300>    Subledger = 12345/W 

Depreciation Calculation for Blank Subledger = 1,000 which is OK

But for the Subledger 12345/W it creates negative depreciation. Rather than depreciating based on Life Months
