R12 Account Analysis Report (XLAAARPT) - security access
We are experiencing 2 problems with the r12 report Account Analysis Report (XLAAARPT) used to report on Sub-Ledger Accounting transactions and replaces a number of 11i seeded and now obsolete Oracle reports.
1) The report does not respect the GL security rules which our organization uses to prevent access to cost centres for transaction entry, inquiry and reporting.
2) the report does not respect the multi-org profile options that are set for user responsibilities. Users in a transportation cost centre can run the report and retrieve sensitive invoice and paymnet data from an AP confidential org.
We have both problems logged with oracle and have been assigned a critical care manager which gives us indirect access to Oracle development. Oracle is saying that the first issue is an enhancement request, but we are arguing that the GL security rule access is a functionality that we had in R11 and is now lost in R12.
