TIME SENSITIVE - Activity Delete

My role as administrator gives me access to every privilege. For some reason though, I do not have permission to delete an activity. There are dozens of duplicated activities, which need to be deleted. These activities were created by other users. My access profile also grants me access to read/edit/delete accounts, activities, contacts, etc. Please help!
