XML not generating properly

With E1 9.0.  I have a UBE that I've generated an XML from in the past.  I made changes to the UBE (I added a sub-section join to another table).  The UBE output looks good, but the XML shows an error (see below).  I need to create an XML because the UBE requires and RTF template.  Other UBEs run just fine, and generate the XML without any issues.  I tried to restore old specs and rerun the problem UBE again, and the XML still errors.  The same thing happened with my Demo install on my laptop.  Again, this XML was generating, but
