Connect live cluster nodes to their storage using SAN switch to share the storage with other node
I need your kind help in an topology change I Was asked to do.
We have running Solaris Cluster with Storagetek 2540 connected to it through redundant fabric connection, we are looking to use the same storage to keep data of another host on it, so in summary the storage will be used for both Cluster and another windows machine (we store SunRay profile on it).
I'm still not sure, should I do it by using zoning on the SAN switch so I create two zones (one for the cluster and another one for the Windows machine) and the storage will be shared between two zones.
