Oracle Announces the Availability of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools 24 Update 2

 
Oracle announces the availability of Update 2 for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools 24. This release, referred to as Tools 24.2.0, is compatible with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne application releases XE and 8.0 (also known as “OneWorld”).

The enhancements in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools 24.2.0 include the following new platform certifications:

Support for Oracle Database 11g R2

Support for IBM WebSphere 7.0

Support for IBM DB2 9.7 on IBM AIX and Microsoft Windows

Support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 9

Tools 24.2.0 also includes general maintenance, including fixes that were shipped in maintenance packs 24.1.1 through 24.1.5.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools 24.2 is the last planned update for Tools 24. Periodic maintenance packs will continue through the support lifecycle for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Xe and 8.0 as published in the Lifetime support Policy for Oracle Applications.
