Patch 6678700 : R12.1.3 Production Upgrade/Slow patch execution

Hi,

Customer is upgrading Oracle applications production installation from 11i to R12.1.3
They are in multinode install. 1 database node and 1 application tier node.

They are currently applying patch 6678700 (R12 Upgrade driver)

Out of the ~156000 jobs in the patch, there are about 6200 jobs pending.
These jobs are getting applying at a very slow pace.
They do not see much load on the database or application tier unix servers.

Please reseach/suggest a solution where we can speeden up the process.

From 6200, it has come down to 5664 in the last 7 hours. Not a big difference. At this rate, it will take possibly 48 hours to get the rest of them done.
