Hi ,
I am setting up an Oracle 10g RAC Data Guard Physical Standby Database for Oracle 10g RAC Primary Database. I took RMAN Hotbackup (Database+ Archive Logs+ Standby Controlfile) on 23rd and the Backup was copied to Standby Server. But I could not configure the Data Guard for some reasons. I plan to do only on 25th Morning. Before configuring is it sufficient if I only Backup the Archive Logs and a Fresh Standby Control Files and start the configuration by using the Database backup taken on 23rd? Will it work? I think it will but I want to be sure.
