P6 V8.2 Web Access/Weblogic Services Will not Restart
We have a 2 month old server installation of P6 V8.2 Web / BI running on
the same physical server with our P6 dedicated Oracle Database
instance. All systems have been up and functioning properly for several
weeks, with no issues.
Yesterday, we needed to reboot the server, thus it was necessary to temporarily stop P6 and BI Weblogic services and take down the web access. When the server came back online, we were able to manually start BI using the shortcut (StartStopServices.cmd start_all). Clicking the shortcut for start_Primavera.bat initially opens the command window, registers log files to the point where the node manager cannot connect, and then closes that window, without starting any P6 services. The log files indicate that the node manager for the P6 Weblogic domain cannot be started.
