Order Management to Install Base Flow

Hi All,

The Item is "Track Install Base" Enabled. The item is Picked and Shipped and Order Line got closed. but Instance Number and Instance Location are not getting generated in Install Base.

I am new to Install Base Module. Can Some one explain what setup needs to be checked and at what point the instance gets generatred for a ship confimed item.
