STATSPACK

I have a Data Guard environment with one primary and one standby.
I want to setup STATSPACK and am having problems with the sbcreate script.
When it prompts me for the stdbyperf password (the one I specified when prompted at the beginning), it is failing on ORA-01017 (invalid username/password).
I was able to successfully connect to the stdbyperf account on the standby with the correct password.
When I try to connect to standby stdbyperf account from the primary I get the same error.
The DB link was created properly, I even re-created the link and still get the same error.
