If GL Periods Closed can transactions be done in Sub-Ledgers

Hi,
I have accidentally Closed the GL Periods , but my Sub-ledgers Periods are open.
Will my Sub-ledger Accounting Entries will be transferred in GL for the Closed Periods ?
If not Can i re-Open the GL Period so that my Sub-Ledger Accounting Entries be transferred to GL.
