Impact on DR EBS Application when Patches are applied in Production EBS Application

 Hi ,

 I implemented Oracle 10g Data Guard DR for Oracle EBS R12 (12.0.6) running on Oracle 10g RAC by following Note :Business Continuity for Oracle Applications Release 12 on Database Release 10gR2 - Single  I   Instance and RAC [ID 452056.1]

 I would like to know what is the best way to replicate the Application Tier to DR when Application Patches are applied in Production Application Tier.  As mentioned in the document, after any patch is applied in the Production, we can do one of the following in the DR env:

 1. completely rebuild the standby site 
 2. let incremental tools (RSYNC) apply the changes.

 Customer is not happy with the 1st option as they don't want to rebuild the DR Site which involves a lot of effort.
