Accounting Date field is Greyed Out

Hi All,

There are 4  journal lines stuck in GL Interface with EP01 (Accounting Date is not in open period). In 11i we used to modify the accounting date as the current period and then re-run the journal import process. I am aware that in R12 the 'Acconting Date' can't be updated and the modifications to be done at the SLA level. But I am wondering where should I do this change? If I make the changes in SLA how do they reflect in the Journal Import-->Correct window?

Open the previous GL period and post them in to that period is not a correct solution, therefore I would like to change to accounting date and then import it.
