Is it possible to make Task Details not updatable using task status?

Hi all,

I have the following request: During the project execution some tasks are finished and we want that when the task status is "Finished" all information entered at task level to be "frozen" , making other users with acces to project not to be able to modify these informations (task details, attachments, user defined attributes and so on). Is this possible?

And if not is there any other way to achieve this?

Also, can the task status be manualy updated and if yes how to setup to be able to do this?
