Viewing SYS Scheduler Jobs

edited May 29, 2012 8:25AM in Database Administration (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered ✓
I'm wondering if there is a specific privilege or role needed to view sys dbms scheduler jobs both manually and through Grid Control.

I have DBA role including Scheduler Admin role. I can query dba_scheduler_jobs manually and view all scheduler jobs, including sys jobs; however, I cannot view the sys jobs through all_scheduler_jobs. Similiarly, When I go into Jobs for any database on Grid Control logging on as a DBA, I can see jobs from myself, system and other users, but not SYS. The only way I can see SYS scheduler jobs through Grid Control, is by logging on as SYS. The only way I can see sys jobs manually is through dba_scheduler_jobs.

Howdy, Stranger!
