Business Process Start Date and End Date Fields in Standard Coverage

 Hello Everyone,
I am wanting to add a Start Date and End Date to the Business Processes I am assigning in the Standard Coverage form.  The fields are grayed out and locked and I am not able to edit them in any of the responsibilities I have tried.  Can someone tell me how I am able to edit these fields?
