Siebel CRM integration with OID

One way replication from A/D to OID.  Siebel CRM to use features of ODSP (Oracle Directory Services Plus) and OAM (Oracle Access Manager).

Users will come in via multiple different applications (of which Siebel is one) and need to be authenticated against A/D data that has replicated to OID.

Question: will the Siebel CRM product require it's own local copy of user LDAP data?  If SSO, same question (will the Siebel CRM product require it's own local copy of user LDAP data)?

If Siebel does not retain it's own "copy" when a user "branches" off to another app (e.g., OBIEE) will this require federated LDAP otr can the single OID LDAP suffice?
