Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Closing AR periods with incomplete transactions in R12

My question is, is it possible to close the AR period in R12 with incomplete transactions? How about in 11i?
