Issues with JE upload using ADI

Oracle 11i journals are uploaded using ADI spread sheet. One of the users is using the ADI spreadsheet that her manager sent in an email. When she uploads these journals in the spread sheet without saving it on her desktop, it goes thru fine. However, when she saves the spread sheet on her machine and then uploads it, it fails and the log file has an error reason : Program was terminated by signal 11.

 

Another twist to this issue is that she tried using the same spread sheet, deleted the existing information and pasted the journals that she wanted to upload, the upload when thru fine. But in Oracle 11i, nothing can be done –delete, update etc, which is weird.
