Trip and delivery closed but unable to ship confirm

Hi:

I have an issue where a user has tried to ship confirm a delivery, the delivery has closed along with it's trip, however, the line still remains in PICKED status and the next step for the delivery is showing as: Ship Confirm/Close Trip Stop.

I referred to metalink under: Staged/Pick Confirmed Status for Delivery and Contents [ID 399730.1]

The solution provided in there is not working for me as I am unable to re-open the delivery.
