PM Plan Conversion

We just did PM plan conversion. The Last service meter reading and Last service date was converted successfully, but I find it did not update the meter records. To clarify, the Last service meter reading and the last service date can viewed by navigating to the PM schedule form, but the self service page of meters do not show the reading or date.  shouldn't the API update Meter with this info?
