Date Format in MSCA

Hi All,

My client has a requirement wherein they want to enter numeric keys for date fields in MSCA, meaning for 12-OCT-2012 they want to enter 10122012 in the mobile screens.

Currently the screen needs 12-OCT-2012 as the date  format for date fields (eg: Lot Expiry date)

Is it possible to change the date format on MSCA ? If yes would it be setup or customization ?
