RHEL supported kernel with Oracle 11.2.0.3

Hi,
Can we install Oracle 11g rel 11.2.0.3 on RHEL 5.7 without Oracle UEK, as according to this doc we need Oracle UEK from RHEL 5.5 or higher.

Actually we have already prepared 2 RHEL 5.7 nodes for 11g rel 2 installation. Now Oracle has said that Oracle kernel is required on RHEL 5.7.
