Large Output files

Hi

We have created certain custom reports through BI publisher on R12.1.2.

The size of our output excel files are coming approx 224 mb due to which there are issues in OPP. We have increased our Java Heap Space, but still as number of users run these type of requests, we have to reduce the size of Output files. I read about Template Builder for Excel 11.1.1.5.0 where size of ouput gets reduced in note

However the note says that RTF template in version 11.1.1.5.0 cannot be used as it is not backward compatible.
