R12 Upgrade - Import Application Accounting Definitions

We have run the 'Import Application Accounting Definitions', and have found that when the 'Validate Application Accounting Definitions' part has completed the Application Accounting Definitions all have a status of 'Not Validated'.

I am sure we have done this correctly, but am unsure as to why these are like this.

What is the effect of this on the system, and how do we correct this?
