Availability of ODA patch bundles after new minor appliance release (2.1 -> 2.2)

Hi,

Can anyone tell what ODA patch bundles gets released after a new minor appliance release becomes available (for example 2.1 -> 2.2) ? Will there be patch bundles created (with for example firmware updates) for
older appliance releases (for example for the 2.1 appliances)? I read that we need to manually apply PSU patches for 11.2.0.2 homes, but for firmware updates for example this is a lot harder to manage.
