rapidinstall overrides existing 11g Home

Hi,We are upgrading from 11.5.10.2 (DB 11.2) to 12.1.3(DB 11.2). Since our DB version remains same, our intention is that 1st rapidwiz shouldn't touch the 11g oracle home.
But When I run rapidwiz to layout R12 filesystem will it override existing 11h home? I got this information from my colleague.
Also during first run since rapidwiz run autoconfig, that means it will connect to existing database. How can I prevent that?
