Questions about document ID 1458754.1 Berkeley DataBase Corruption

Hi experts

I have some questions about document below. Would you help me to understand the issue in detail
to prompt our customers and field personel updating xscf to be 1112.

All M-Series Systems XSCFUs May Fail and/or Halt Due to Berkeley DataBase Corruption if System Firmware is not Upgraded to Version 1112. [ID 1458754.1]

(I use BDB instead of Berkeley DataBase)

1)  What is BDB used for ?

2)  When will BDB corruption happen ? Is it just booting xscf or any other condition ?

3)  How can we repair the system if we encounter this issue ?

I guess several patterns, but we need to consider highend separately which has two resundant xscf.

Howdy, Stranger!
