Options to speed up OATM migration?

Hello,
Does anyone have any tips on speeding up the OATM migration. We've just completed a migration of our development environment and the main migration task took 60 hrs. For Production we're planning to do our OATM migration and migrate from Solaris to  Linux in a single downtime window (basically over a weekend) so need to keep timings as tight as possible.
