US PAY: Example Proration Formula for Element Description form for an Earnings Element
Noticed that Oracle does not deliver a default or example Proration Formula to be used on the "Proration" tab of the Element Description form.
There is a default "Proration Group", but no Formula. Does anyone have an example Proration Formula we can use - specifically, we are not just looking to prorate based on days in the month, we use Work Schedules for Salaried employees (on the Assignment, Statutory Information tab), and we want the Proration to occur based on their Work Schedule - for example if a person works a schedule of Monday - Thursday, 10 hours a day, and the element is only active for Monday and Tuesday on that person, then it should prorate for 2 days, or 20 hours.
