Meaning and cause of a warning message.

Hello all

This is a bit of an obscure question, but i want to see if anyone can point me in the right direction.

I occasionaly see this message on a system,

hostname genunix: [ID 274403 kern.error] Warning: stream 60014952060 received duplicate 540F M_IOCNAK; module list: pts

I would just like to know more about it, at the moment all i can say is 'pts' is the pseudo terminal, other than that this message means nothing to me,

detailed steps on troubleshooting or info gathering would be nice to learn from :)) if possible, were all still learning right.
