Unable to Release Backordered Lines from a Delivery

Hi,I am unable to Release, Sales Order Lines (in the delivery ) with line status back ordered.
We run release <form> delivery wise, if due to some reason the sales order is marked as back ordered, we have to unassign the sales order from delivery and run Release for the individual Sales Order. Kindly suggest
How to run release for sales order lines with status back order?
