Cannot complete the credit memo

Hi Guys,
We encountered an error in Receivables Module.

Error Message: APP-AR-11492: A more recent credit memo has been applied to this transaction.


The said credit memo are for cancellation that's why our employee reprocessed again the credit memo. What is the workaround for this error?
