PAY: The adjustment is not valid (ADJ_DATE=31-DEC-12)

I am running intial balance upload in validate mode and it's erroring out for some of the records with 'The adjustment is not valid (ADJ_DATE=31-DEC-12)'. am suspecting this issue is with dim_expiry_date and need anybody help on this.
